Scott, I've attached a few pics of our Build A Sign banner. We loved it! My kids call him "daddy-o" instead of dad or daddy so it was neat to customize the banner that way! Have a great day and thanks again!!! Karen

Thank you so very much for giving back so much to our veterans! This is the second banner that you have provided for free and the American Legion Riders and Patriot Guard use them to welcome our returning troops home and I know for a fact that they appreciate it. I make it a point to let everyone know of your generousity. Thank you again and Semper Fi!

Hello. I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you are doing for the troops. Our son is deployed in Afghanistan. He was recently home on R&R, and we had your sign on our front lawn. Strangers that walked by it said "Tell Ricky 'Thank you!' for us" it made me cry; it still does. He is back over there now, and I am hoping to get one of the Christmas cards and a banner for his company. Your company is incredible in your support of our military. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

I don't know how your company does it all for free, but God bless you for doing so! You were a great encouragement! My son is safely home from Afghanistan, and in a week will be safely home from active duty, so we don't need any more banners for that, thank goodness. But again, thanks for the banner you did for us - it was lovely. We took it to welcome him home to the military base, and at Thanksgiving we will re-display it to welcome him back to life as a civilian within our extended family. Thanks so very much!

Dear Build A Sign, Thank you for the attached e-mail. It reminded me that I had yet to send our thanks to you for the free banner you sent back in July. You have no idea what that banner does today, so I want to share it with you. Your banner now hangs as a welcome to, so far, well over 2200 troops that enter the Gregory J. Harris Military Courtesy Room at Syracuse's Hancock Airport in Syracuse, NY. This room is not a USO, it is privately funded at the local level and to our knowledge, is one of only two like it on the nation. Everything in it is complimentary, bought with money donated from local folks, companies and organizations We have only been open for a little over 3 months and our success is well beyond what we ever imagined. Your banner is the focal point of the Room and the Marine whose face dawns the banner is a local Marine who was captured during the Vietnam War and is still unaccounted for. I am proud to say, he is also my cousin. Here is a clip from a follow up report that one of the local CBS affiliates did last month. As you can see, the banner says it all! http://www.wtvh.com/home/related/31067404.html THANK YOU so much!

Welcome Home Adam Banner
Hi! Our son, Adam, came home last Monday night. The homecoming event on base was great, but what make it special was the banner you guys made for him. We had the biggest and most beautiful banner. Adam was able to spot us in that crowd! Thank you for providing the banners for us! May God bless you and your business. I have blogged about you to all the moms that are waiting for their Marine to come home. I am enclosing some pictures of homecoming on base. We will be using the banner when Adam gets to our house for his party and we will use it when he returns from his next tour over there.

Dear BuildASign, My Marine son will be so overjoyed when he gets a glimpse of the wonderful sign you made and sent to us with your promotion. It touches my heart to see companies like yourselves doing something like this to support our troops. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I have 6+ weeks more of waiting after many months with him in Iraq and Afghanistan and it will be so nice to see the excitement on his face when he arrives home! Blessings to all of you, Your company is "First Class"

I surpriesed my husband at the airport with the banner, it had a picture on it I took off his myspace page and his father and cousin was holding it while our son who was 15 months old stood under it and held a little sign I made for him that just said Daddy. Then my husband baseball slide through the slide and grabbed my legs. Once he got up he looked at the sign and was really impressed. We also took the sign to a surprise welcome home from Iraq party I did for him. We hung it up at the top of the driveway so everyone that was coming could see it and know where the party was. After an hour the next door neighbor stole it adn refuse to give it back. The sign was wonderful adn I wished people respected soliders as much as you guys do.

Thank you for the beautiful sign for our future son-in-law's return from Iraq. I attaching a link that includes the news coverage for our troops return. http://www.kcci.com/video/17287176/index.html Towards the end of the clip you can see the Banner "Welcome Home Daniel" The end of the clip has a great picture of our daughter Lindsay giving a welcome home kiss to her marine. Lindsay is the blond in the red sweater and Daniel her marine fiancé. I hope you are able to watch the video as there are other signs in it that could be from your company. Thanks again for a great banner!

THANK YOU for making such a generous offer to military families by offering us the chance to get a banner made. My daughter (returning from her 2nd tour of duty) and her husband (3rd tour), both Army MPs, will be coming home for a short visit next weekend, so the banner arrived in plenty of time. They will both remain stateside now, so thank god for that. My daughter has not seen her family in over 18 months and will be seeing a new home and a new nephew for the first time! How excited we all are. Besides having a welcome home at our local airport with a lot of support from our community, she'll have a great big surprise when she sees the banner you made hanging over the garage. THANK YOU!!

Thank you so very much for the absolutely awesome banner to welcome my husband home!!! How wonderful to offer this special to military families. I know that seeing these bannners in a show of support means so much to all of them. I will have to order one when our youngest son in the Marines deploys again. I know he will love it! I see that you also have donations going to the disabled vets. Again, thank you as I also have a 25 yr old former Marine son who is now medically retired. Thank you for what you are doing. God bless!

Thank you the sign is beautiful! It came about 4 days late for his welcome home leave before he left for Iraq but that is ok...we will use for his R/R in early 2009 when he comes home from there! We hope to get one soon for another hero...his brother just signed up & will be heading to Basic Training next week! Will need it by Christmas!!! Have to look into getting one before then!

I want to thank BuildASign for this wonderful sign. My husband is due home from R and R sometime next week and my daughters and I are anxiously waiting to hang up our sign on our porch. Hello And thank you for the email. My son has not come home yet, were still waiting but i will submit pics when he is back. I cannot thank you and your company enough for the extremely generous act of giving these signs away for mere shipping charges. I wanted to have some type of banner when hes due in and figured I would have to make a home made one. So many companies in this country have done absolutely nothing for our troops and your company has gone well above and beyond to make their homecomings very special by these beautiful banners. I received mine and was very impressed. It is outstanding!!!. You have definately earned my business and respect and again, thank you so much for giving me and i think your website said you gave away like 60k banners. Thats a lot of money. I can't wait until my son has landed safely and sees such a fine sign...:) Thank you , thank you

Welcome Home Jesse Banner
After ten long months, August 22, 2008 had arrived and my son Jesse n(far right) would finally be home on R&R from Iraq. We knew it would be a long trip home for him, but we didn’t realize that the last four miles would be the longest. I'd flown in from New York for our family reunion at my sister’s house in the Gold Country of California and my parents (who live in the Bay Area) were driving Jesse up. As the time got closer for them to arrive, I got more and me excited – and then the phone rang. It was my mother reporting a tractor trailer jack knifed in the gorge and it would take at least a few hours for traffic to move. To say I was disappointed is the understatement of the decade, but I was determined to sound chipper when she turned the phone over to Jesse. Of course Jesse realized my dismay and immediately said, “It can’t be that much further, I’ll just run”. It was a very hot day and I had to laugh when I heard my mother tell him that she didn’t like the idea of him running in “all this heat”, to which Jesse replied, “Grandma, I run in 120 degrees with body armor, I’ll be OK” and he hopped out of the car and started to run. In the meantime, we drove up to where traffic was being turned back. The image of my son running down the hill (which, of course, he had to run UP first) will forever be etched on my mind. When we drove up to the house the first thing he saw was his banner and he loved it! I was sure to tell him that it had been donated and knowing that he had such a level of support back home meant so much to him! We cannot thank you enough!! Before Jesse left we made him a scrapbook to take back to Iraq with him. His Grandpa’s (former Marine and Army Sergeant, but that's another story) entry read something like “They fly you fly thousands of miles to get you home but you have to run the last four--You must be Army”. Yes, he is indeed a Soldier in the United States Army: 101st Airborne, Division Air Assault. I MISS him, I LOVE him, I’m PROUD of him!!

A simple "thank you" is not enough for how grateful I am for the welcome home sign that I ordered from BUILDASIGN.com . The offer was one you cannot beat and my sign arrived within a week! Dear BuildASign People, I want to send our sincere thanks for helping us make the homecoming of our son-in-law so wonderful and special. The banner arrived right on time! My son-in-law's expression when he saw the banner, was priceless! He did not expect such a wonderful welcome. He made it home just in time to see the birth of his fourth child. It was so special because he and my daughter have 3 sons. Unfortunately he has to return back to Iraq on August 26. We have all tried to make his homecoming a special one, making every minute count. Again our sincerest thanks for making our Marine feel so wonderful! May God Bless America-----And May God Bless You All!! The Franco Family---A Proud American Family!!!

I have been meaning to contact you. We ordered a sign when we heard about your promotion for returning soldiers, and upgraded the shipping at your suggestion since his return was imminent. We received not only one sign, but another prior to my son’s arrival---which worked out perfectly! We had a sign at the airport [although my son was traveling in civilian clothing, because of the sign and some small flags we brought along, it was apparent that he was a soldier, and everyone in the airport (I think almost 100 people) broke into spontaneous applause when we greeted him---extremely touching] and a sign to hang on our house as well, which we combined with more flags and buntings. We would like to pay you full price for one of the signs. Please forward your statement and we will promptly remit payment. Thank you very much!!!!!

Dear Sirs, Thank you so much for the SIGNS to "welcome back" our soldiers returning from Iraq to Germany. The group of U.S. Army soldiers were deployed directly from their station in Germany. This left all their families stuck in Germany and unable to return to the United States. My Daughter-By-Choice(daughter-in-law) asked me to order the "Heroes Signs" and then ship them to Germany for the returning troops. You made them and shipped them to me in time. She now has them to hang on the "Welcome Home" fence in time for our son's return to the Army Post in Germany. Once again, Thank You for all your support of our Troops.

Phillip's Leave
My son is currently deployed with the 293rd in Iraq. He came home for a two week leave in July and it was great being able to display our gratitude with the personalized banner you so graciously gave to us to Welcome him home! I would like to thank you so much for your generosity and for supporting our troops. The banner was professionally made and it looked awesome in our yard. My thanks also goes out to the FRG members of the 293rd who first made us aware of your website. I will definitely recommend your site to other military families! Thank you Again!

Build A Sign It is I who should be thanking you. The banner was perfect and a special part of the welcome home from me to my husband. It means so much to have an American business be supportive of our troops, veterans and their families. We as military families still do not see enough of that. The American public in general isn't sacrificing for this war and I feel does not even feel we are under any threat. Believe me the threat is real and the sacrifices that our troops and their families make every day are real. So when a business like you reaches out and shows their support it is all the more meaningful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

The people who did his banner is buildasign.com they are AWESOME!!! They gave 10,000 banners away for free to military families who's loved ones were deployed and they only had to pay for shipping! I am so excited for when he comes home so he can see the banner!!!! We will be holding it up proudly while we wait for him to walk in the room!!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!
