Company marks major milestone in current Troops efforts and announces launch of national Military Appreciation campaign through its home decor brand Easy Canvas Prints
AUSTIN, TX – May 8, 2012 — BuildASign.com, a leading online custom printing provider, today announced a major milestone in its efforts to support military heroes, with nearly 240,000 Welcome Home banners donated to friends and family of returning servicemen and women. The Troops program, which was launched in 2008, has become one of the company's most notable philanthropic efforts, with donations totaling more than $7.6 million in retail value.
In an effort to expand on current Troops efforts and celebrate Military Appreciation Month, BuildASign.com also launched a national giving campaign through its home décor brand, Easy Canvas Prints. As part of the its Canvas for a Cause initiative, the brand partnered with American Fallen Soldiers Project, Armed Services YMCA, Operation Finally Home and Wish Upon a Hero Foundation to donate 25% of purchases made during the month of May to the non-profits.
