Austin, TX - May 30, 2008- Local e-commerce sign retailer BuildASign.com™ supported the Austin chapter of Habitat for Humanity by sponsoring the 2008 Build the Habitat Young Professionals Gala. The Habitat Young Professionals are a diverse group that shares their time, resources and talents to help provide affordable housing to Austin’s hard-working families in need.

BuildASign.com™ donated six signs, five banners and two oversized checks to support the event as well as sending three of its senior executives to the Gala. The two main sponsors of the event were Samsung Austin Semiconductor and Action MBA, both of which contributed the checks to the HYP. All of the money raised from the event will be used to build the 2008 HYP House which will then be donated to an Austin family in need.

The 2008 Build the Habitat Young Professionals Gala was held at the newly constructed Long Center for the Performing Arts. Held on Saturday May 24, 2008 the Gala was attended by supporters who paid $75 a ticket to help support affordable housing in Austin.
